New! Strength in Community New!
Join us in reaching out to children and families living in poverty and with special needs to encourage and strengthen them with God's love.  Strength in Community is a new faith-based family mentoring program managed in partnership with Family Promise Shenandoah and Charterhouse School Edinburg.  Strength in Community is designed to help lift up children and families in need - those living in poverty or suffering emotional traumas and behavioral problems that can instigate or perpetuate it.  The backbone of this new program are volunteer family mentors - Christians within our broader Shenandoah Valley who will commit to "walk with"  a family in need for several months as they work to acquire the resources that will help them prosper. What will it "cost" to be a family mentor? What is the benefit of being a family mentor, to you and the community? To learn the answers to these questions - join us for the first Strength in Community Workshop, February 3, 2018 at Charterhouse School Edinburg.  Come and learn more about this exciting new mission and opportunity to positively impact the lives of children and families living in the Shenandoah Valley region!

We'd also like to invite you to make an online prayer request. Your prayer request opens the door, and God is waiting patiently on the other side of that door, at all times, in all situations, to join with you.

Many blessings to you,

Elfie Finn-McKenzie
